Quartet Records presents a new score composed by Fernando Velázquez for a Spanish drama directed by Fernando Bernués and based on the acclaimed novel by Bernardo Atxaga. This is a story of how an unlikely childhood friendship develops into a complex adult relationship in a convoluted social context.
Fernando Velázquez provides an intense, dramatic and highly vigorous score with thick orchestral colors, beautifully orchestrated, and featuring a haunting main theme. The prestigious Basque National Orchestra sensitively performs the music under the composer's baton.
