Opening in theaters nationwide this week are (with music by): Dust Bunny (Isabella Summers), Ella McCay (Hans Zimmer), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (25th Anniversary Re-release) (James Horner) and Silent Night, Deadly Night (Blitz//Berlin). Expanding nationwide from its limited release last month is Hamnet (Max Richter).

- Craig Safan (The Last Starfighter, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master) is turning 77 on Wednesday, December 17.
